William Peirce has been making fine household wood pieces for more than 30 years.  As a sculptor, his recent interest is in forming re-arrangeable art: assemblies of sculptural pieces that viewers move around to create their own artistic compositions. He has exhibited in shows sponsored by the Washington Woodworkers Guild, the Creative Crafts Council, and the Senior Artists Alliance; in craft fairs such as the Sugarloaf Mountain fairs; and in galleries such as Partners Gallery in Bethesda, MD and Peirce Mill in Rock Creek Park.
