About the JRAAbout_the_JRA.html

Katrina Roeckelein (Trinka) is a sculptor working in clay. After receiving her MFA in design, she established her career as a graphic designer in film, video and print for the Associated Press, various post- production houses in the Washington DC area and worldwide publishers like DK Publishing and Orchard Books. Gradually her creative tool evolved from the computer to clay. Trinka creates both indoor and outdoor pieces, most of which contain realistic interpretations of the animal or human form. Her whimsical sculptures center on the co-existence between nature and people and reflect the fantasy that arises by combining these parallel subjects.
