Jill Tanenbaum has worked with a variety of art media over the years, and has been working with kiln-formed glass since 1992. Some of the places her work has been exhibited include Gallery Plan b in Washington, the Glenview Mansion in Rockville, the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo, Art & Sole at Strathmore Hall, NIH, the Strathmore Winter Show, the Ratner Museum in Bethesda, IONA Gallery in Washington, Maryland Hall on Capital Hill and the Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Two of her pieces are included in the permanent collection of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. In the fall of 2015, her work will be included in an art book by Dennis Forbes, an art connoisseur and award-winning author, who specializes in writing books about living visual artists of the 21st century who have made noteworthy contributions in the field of art. Currently she teaches fused glass at her home studio, sells work from her home gallery and designs customized pieces.
