Jennifer Bernhard Hatfield has been working with clay for over 20 years and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Montclair State College. As a working artist, she has been a production potter at several potteries on the East Coast. In 1994, she became a studio artist at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Virginia. For several years, Jennifer taught clay in different venues in Virginia, including the Art League School and Virginia public schools.


By attending a trade show once a year her work is distributed to about 75 galleries and shops across the United States. Presently, Jennifer’s claywork is in both the museum shop at the DeYoung Museum in San Francisco and Fall Waters Conservancy in Pennsylvania. Ms. Hatfield’s vessels have been granted several awards and prizes at definitive shows.
